The most important skill in life is awareness. You can change the course of your life, being aware of decisions and actions. Scrolling can be pleasure in the short term, but it will make you hollow by comparison and the amount of action people show they are taking on social media.

It can overwhelm you. Let go of worries and slip awareness into your decisions and actions.

  1. “Every human has four endowments; self-awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate human freedom. The power to choose, to respond, to change.”
    -Stephen Covey

As we become ego centric these things go out of the window. You can’t experience anything without your mind passing a judgement. Any deviation from what is, creates a tension in our being. You want to reach the ideal state or fix the problem soon. In nature every element can have a noble state in terms of electrons but not everyone wants to be there. They can form a bond within themselves and can stay like that happily, but they seek pleasure in bonding with others. That’s the recipe for a miserable life. A life full of unrest.
  2. “Awareness allows us to get outside of our mind and observe it in action.”
    -Dan Brule
We do most of our work mindlessly. Getting out of the mind, you can taste freedom from the surrounding chaos. Doing an action and doing it mindfully are totally different things.
  3. “Awareness is like the sun. When it shines on things, they are transformed.”

You can put an effort to do meditation for as long as you can, but it happens only when you are not trying to make something different out of it.
  4. “Awareness is a key ingredient in success. If you have it, teach it, if you lack it, seek it.”
    -Michael B. Kitson
Without awareness of your process, you are here for a messed up life. Hard work not rewarded becomes a seed for frustration.
  5. “As my awareness increases, my control over my own being increases.”
    -William Schutz
The more you are aware of your habits and things you do daily, the more you are in control of your trajectory.
  6. “Being self-aware is not the absence of mistakes, but the ability to learn and correct them.”
    -Daniel Chiriac
If you keep correcting your mistakes, improving even by a percent, it can compound to a mountain of improvements.
  7. “The better awareness, the better your choices. As you make better choices, you will see better results.”
    -Anonymous
Any success you see on the streets is not an accident. Every success has a series of decision that went well.
  8. “Awareness is all about restoring your freedom to choose what you want instead of what your past imposes on you.”
    -Deepak Chopra

Awareness frees you from the past, you are fresh every moment and not accumulating experiences mindlessly.
  9. “Once you become aware of what you are capable of achieving, you won’t settle for mediocrity.”
    -ATGW

If you know you can make million of dollars, a mountain of happiness and ocean flow of productivity you won’t settle for some coins, dust and drops.
  10. “Whenever you are about to find fault with someone, ask yourself the following question: What fault of mine most nearly resembles the one I am about to criticize?”
    -Marcus Aurelius

Sometimes we are advising the other person or listing out their fault, we have inside us.
  11. “Self-awareness gives you the capacity to learn from your mistakes as well as your successes. It enables you to keep growing.”
    -Lawrence Bossidy

Awareness makes me think, How could I have done it differently and how it can still be improved. If you are aware, no day can go absolutely wrong in your life as long as you know it you will get back on track.
  12. “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”

Sometimes it’s you who needs to fix things, other person is reacting to what you have done?
  13. “Self awareness is the ability to take an honest look at your life without any attachment to it being right or wrong, good or bad.”
    -Debbie Ford

Observing and correcting but not criticising yourself for what you are doing and if you love what you do, nothing is a waste of time.
