We have heard from our family and friends that I Am done with life and going to Himalayas for peace.

Going there will not help at all because where ever you go the mind follows. Mind takes decision for most of us. Where ever you go in this world doesn’t matter, with the same mind the problems will follow you like a shadow.

Even in the Himalayas, you will have problems, but they will be for pure survival. Right now you may have to pay the bills and rent so the primary focus is on that, when they are gone, you move higher and think about much bigger things like life and society.

The society had been very specific about the conditioning, and you may not think you are moving in circles until your graduation or degrees. Some live here like they have actually not alive at all.

So there is no need to go to the Himalayas for peace that can be found, even in the place you are sitting right now.

If you were sick today and you know the why what circumstances lead you to the sickness, then you know yourself and are aware of what had you eaten that your body is uncomfortable with.

We need this witnessing and awareness in every aspect of life. Then there is no need to go to the Himalayas, the couch is enough.

I have heard there was a person. He had many problems and on someone’s suggestion; he went to a yogi in the Himalayas and told him to teach meditation so he may have all my problems solved.

The yogi told him to come after 7 days I’ll teach you, but whenever you sit to meditate just don’t think about the monkeys and the person told why would I think about monkeys, I’ll see you after 7 days.

He came on day 2 and told the yogi please let me just get rid of these monkeys whenever I try to concentrate or meditate. These monkeys come out of nowhere and make my life a circus.

The mind is like that only it drags you in a circle of problems and life that is never-ending; it ends with the end of the mind.

If you still want to go to the Himalayas, please go just leave your mind on the table of the room, with it, you are going nowhere, just circles. Be aware of what every happens inside and outside of you. Make use of every opportunity that you get.

“Awareness is the greatest agent for change.”
